They can be as free and easy or as structured as you like. Our experienced and skilled teachers will entertain you as well as teach you. bZents have been teaching circus skills for over twenty years and have lost count of the people with two left feet they have taught to juggle.

Our workshops are suitable for all age groups and all types of event.

Freddie the Fire Engine  

Bozo and Zizi's arena show with their temperamental fire-engine, Freddie, is guaranteed to enliven and brighten any event. Not only do the crazy duo have to fight against each other’s comic incompetence but also against the antics of the fire-engine itself which seems to have a mind of its own as it chugs, explodes and chases them around the arena in brilliant festival of comedy.

If you book Freddie the Fire Engine you get not only two exciting performances but two clowns for the day to mix and mingle with your audience, stiltwalking, juggling and causing mayhem around the entire show.

Hero’s Heroines and Hoods

Using our own ‘Storytelling With a Difference’ style we bring to life, with the help of the audience, some of our favourite Legendary and Historical characters.

Our "Heroes, Heroines and Hoods" series lets you choose any three of the following titles for your event, all lavishly costumed and impeccably performed, so that there is a wonderful variety of shows offered to your public:-

• Robin Hood and the Silver Arrow – One of this Legendary characters most famous of tales.

• Robin Hood's Greatest Adventure –How did Friar Tuck join Robin Hood’s merry band? How did Robin save the children of Nottingham from certain death? All is revealed in this fabulous tale.

• Horatio's Last Hurrah!- It's the early 1800s and Britain is at war, a war where it is fighting for its very existence, an existence that is ensured by the exploits of, Horatio Nelson, the greatest hero of the age.

• What-ho Henry !- A fantastic romp through the highs, lows and beheadings of Henry VIII’s life

• Don't Mess With Bess- A whistle stop tour of the life of Elizabeth I and the Tudor period.

The stories include awe-inspiring archery contests, terrific tournaments naval battles, swashbuckling swordfights, beheadings and weddings. bZents has established a national reputation with its performances of participatory theatre, where the children at your event can join in the wonderful shows about some of this country's greatest characters.

Storytelling 


A vast repertoire of folklore, legends, history and morality tales are at your disposal. From Robin Hood to Horatio Nelson, from re-workings of the Faustus legend to traditional fairy tales and local legends.

New for 2011 is a storytelling event for younger children.  Gentle, and fun, guaranteed to have the young audience enthralled.

Ghost Walks

Spooky tales told by a consummate, costumed story-teller. A mixture of spine-tingling and humorous stories to keep everyone, young and old alike enthralled as they are led on an hour-long walk around your venue.
 
The stories can be adapted to suit any venue, and if requested stories can be researched and written to suit specific locations.
 
Throw in some great effects and a family event is brought startlingly to life ... or not?

Robin Hood Ghost Stories  

The name of Robin Hood always conjures up thoughts of a great hero, performing deeds of derring-do and robbing from the rich to give to the poor, but there is another side to the legends of Sherwood Forest, a darker, more sinister side.
A forest of this great age of course has tales of its own and our storyteller will tell you many of these spooky, supernatural tales with a skill and a subtlety that will have you hanging on every word; ghost stories that will chill and shock in equal measure.

Superbly costumed our storyteller will transport you to a Sherwood Forest of many years ago, where you will meet characters from the woods, not least the great Robin Hood himself with a number of his merry (and in some cases not so merry) men.

The stories are guaranteed to thrill, amuse and entertain. They are particularly effective as a ghost-walk. Go on, scare yourself a little.

Dickensian 

Our wonderfully costumed, if somewhat sinister storyteller, Mr Squires along with his suitably attired acquaintance, Mrs Bottom, will lead you on a storytelling delight through the deep and dark world of Victorian England.

Tales that will thrill you and scare you. Tales that will make you glad to be alive today and not 150 years ago, where even the most innocent of everyday actions could take on the most devilishly significant air. Enough to make you feel the hairs on the back of your neck rise, and a more than usually careful glance to be thrown across your shoulder.

The stories are suitable for any ages. Children, adults and families alike will be enthralled. They can be told just about anywhere too, from the classroom to hall. Perhaps you would enjoy them as part of a dark, night time walk. Great Fun!
